What is the cost of workplace mediation?

There is no charge for an initial telephone consultation, during which you can explain to me the background and the issue which needs to be resolved. I will confirm to you whether I consider mediation is likely to be of help and, if so, what would be involved. 

 

We will agree a cost which takes into account how long the mediation is likely to last. Most workplace mediations will require at least half a day, and often a whole day is needed. I generally start a mediation at 9:00am, with a view to the mediation being completed by 5:00pm.

Where legal proceedings have been raised, there may be discussions over parties splitting the cost. In any event, the cost of taking part in mediation will almost certainly be significantly less than the alternative of legal proceedings.
